Clear CACHE on iPhone or iPad

Sometimes a page in the GVO may not look like the most up to date version - this is becuase your device (table/smartphone) has stored a local copy of the page (for speed purposes)  and has not realised the page has been updated. To clear the cache follow the steps below.

Note: This will log you out of the websites you’re signed into, so keep those passwords handy.

  1. Open Settings and scroll down to the fifth group of options (with mail at the top). Tap Safari.
  2. Scroll down to a line saying "Clear History and Website Data" and tap it.
  3. Tap on "Clear History and Website Data" – this will clear the cache
