GVO will give a warning/error message if you attempt to load a file greater than 35mb in size. Also, if you see the following error message "xhr returned response 413" when attempting to upload a file to GVO then the most likely cause is that the file is too large.
The GVO can take files up to 35mb.
Solution - depending upon the file type there may be ways to make the file smaller without losing any quality
Examples:
- JPEG files can be stored at a lower resolution (eg use 'save for web' options)
- PDF files can be reduced in size using an online file converter which can reduce the filesize by about 80%
