The GVO allows you to 'subscribe' to calendar events so that they can be added to your personal calendar (eg iCloud, Google, Outlook) when they are created. To set up calendar subscription follow the steps below.
1. Go to the users section and click on your own username which open up the 'Profile Display' page.
2. Press the Edit button which will allow you to make certain changes to your own user profile. Locate the section about the calendar subscription and select it.
3. Press submit to save the settings.
When a calendar event is added to the GVO calendar you will be sent an email with an attachment that you can use to add the event to your personal calendar. The attachment is an iCal file (ICS).
Note: The calendar must be associated with the email address used in the GVO for this to work correctly.
