GVO Typical Folder Structure

The GVO Folder structure can be set up in any way that works for your trust, college or school. 

The idea is that every document has a place to be stored such that it can be found easily when required. The design of the folder structure is like designing the layout of a supermarket or a public library. 

Here is an example of the folders and sub folders that might be useful for your GVO in each school - this might be a useful 'starter-for-ten'. In a single school GVO these folders might be top-level, in a MAT they will sit under each Local Governing Board. Similar folders structures can exist for each committee (if you have committees).

Any of the folders can be 'restricted' BUT that implies all sub-folders carry the same access restrictions.
