TASK COMPLETION & COMMENT NOTIFICATIONS
The 'Subscriptions' and 'Notifications' work in the same way with Tasks as they do for files, pages, policies & meetings.
If a user is 'subscribed' for Completion alerts and/or Comment alerts then a GVO notification is sent whenever a completion is added (or removed) or when a comment is added.
a) The Task owner (the person who created the task) is automatically subscribed to comment alerts and completion alerts (but can unsubscribe at any time).
b) Any user can 'subscribe' or 'unsubscribe' themselves using the 'subscribe' checkbox - useful to keep a track on who has done what
c) If the user profile allows it then a user can subscribe other users to completion alerts and comments alerts - please use with care as this will fill the inbox of people being subscribed.
The subscribe options are on the Task view...if the box is ticked you are subscribed, if empty you are not subscribed
